Action for Social Change (India) is a youth-led non-profit organisation committed to expanding educational opportunities and promoting social equity. Through mentorship, leadership development, and capacity-building initiatives, we empower young people from underserved communities across India to pursue higher education and create meaningful impact.
🎓 What is GSMP?
The Global Scholars Mentorship Programme (GSMP) is a year-long mentorship initiative designed specifically for first-generation students aspiring to pursue Master's degrees at top-ranked universities across the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, and Australia. Selected scholars receive personalised guidance from international scholars, Chevening / Commonwealth recipients, and global university graduates throughout their application journey.
✨ Key Features of GSMP 1.0
🔵 3-Day Residential Bootcamp
Taking place from 22nd August – 24th August 2026. In-depth guidance on admissions, scholarship eligibility, university selection, and application strategy.
🟢 One-to-One Mentorship
Personalised pairing with international scholars and experienced mentors who provide continuous support throughout your Master's application cycle.
🟡 Full Application Support
Comprehensive review of Statements of Purpose (SOPs), CVs, scholarship essays, Letters of Recommendation (LORs), writing samples, IELTS/TOEFL guidance, and mock interviews.
🟠 Community & Mental Support
Peer learning networks, leadership workshops, mental well-being circles, and pre-departure / visa guidance.
💰 Bootcamp Fee & Transparency
The bootcamp fee covers only food and lodging during the 3-day residential workshop. The year-long mentorship programme is completely FREE OF COST for all selected scholars.

First-generation university students and graduates from rural, tribal, government school, non-English medium, SC/ST, and other underrepresented backgrounds aspiring to pursue a Master's degree abroad in:

📌 Selection Process & How to Apply
Selection is based on a rigorous application review followed by a virtual interview. Only 100 seats are available for Master's Cohort 1.0. Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis, so candidates are strongly encouraged to apply early!
